The succesfull conference Immersed, celebrated last year in Toronto and made possible by The Immersive Technology Alliance, arrives to Europe in September 3-4.
An Ontario-based non-profit corporation that is non-proprietary in nature, the ITA is the official voice and industry body for immersive technologies like augmented reality, virtual reality, stereoscopic 3D, and more.
Immersed 2014 featured over forty speakers including technology makers, API developers, content makers, VR filmmakers, investment professionals, government representatives, and more. Household names like AMD, Nvidia, The Khronos Group, Jaunt, ImmersiON-VRelia, New Deal Studios, The Canadian Film Centre, and more all had a presence.
The final location for the show will be Murcia, Spain. Multiple augmented and virtual reality companies are based in Murcia. It is the home of leading educational institutions including the University of Murcia and UCAM. Both have an interest in immersive technology, all this strengthens our ability to put on a great conference.
Immersed Europe is about giving content makers, technology innovators, and professionals the tools and resources they need to build their businesses and excel in their career. These tools and resources include development expertise, media exposure, access to the investment community, and public excitement for the vibrant immersive future we are headed towards.
